Ms. Chatham
My name is Sonya Chatham and I am veteran teacher. I have been teaching students in Kindergarten through 8th grade for over 27 years. I am National Board Certified in English Language Arts. I enjoy helping them grow in their reading skills, fluency and comprehension. It would be my honor and pleasure to work with your child!
Mr. Driver
My name is Mr. Driver, and I have worked as a classroom English teacher in middle and high school for the past 6 years. I am married to a teacher as well! I love teaching creative writing, emphasizing my students’ natural skills, and engaging them in challenging and fun forms of learning.

Hello, my name is John Mott. This is my 22nd year of teaching. Regarding my education, I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education, with a specialty working with students who have needs with reading and writing. I also have a Master’s Degree in School Administration. Over the past 22 years, I have taught reading, writing, English, math, science, and history to students between the ages of 6 to 18. I taught 6 years in Maryland, the Washington D.C. metropolitan area. For the past 16 years, I have been teaching in North Carolina in the Charlotte metropolitan area. Education is an important aspect in my life and I am so happy to share these experiences with you!
HI! My name is Cassie Stratton. I have been teaching since 2001. I have a master’s degree in elementary education with a licensure in English as a New Language. Additionally, I have a CELTA (Certificate in English Language Teaching to Adults) from Cambridge University. Most recently, I have earned my certification as a reading specialist. I have taught in many different countries in classrooms with diverse cultures, languages, and educational needs. For me, teaching is about inspiring students to be successful and love learning.
